Group Classes at Dance FX Studios


Come check out our NEW and IMPROVED Group Classes at Dance FX Studios! As wonderful supplements to your private dance lessons, we are now offering NEW group classes in Yoga, Meditation and Pilates! Use these classes to build your strength, elongate and stretch your muscles, relax, unwind and so much more! Our new group classes start the first week of November so start spreading the word...
(Group Classes are complimentary to all Dance FX members)

Group Class Rates

All Group Class Pass: Pre- pay for a group class card and join us for ANY of our classes at a rock- bottom rate! Any 10 classes for $100 total. (Group class card expires 3 months from date of purchase)

Single Group Class Pass: Pre- pay for any 1 class of your choice and save! 5 classes of any single style of your choice for $50 total. (Group class card expires 3 months from date of purchase)

Drop- In's: $15/ class

Pre- Registration: $12/ class. Pre- register online (see Calendar), by phone or in person.

Group Classes Offered at Dance FX Studios (see Calendar for days and times)

Zumba: Come for an hour of "Latin meets aerobics". Get an AMAZING workout and have fun doing it! Zumba classes will now be held every Saturday morning (following Yoga). Please wear comfortable exercise attire.

Belly Dancing: Ladies... experience 1½ hours of fun with well-known Belly Dance instructor Amy Andrews! Belly Dancing is for all levels and no experience is required. Come dressed for a great workout!

Yoga: In this class, we will move, breathe, stretch, laugh, and meditate. The goal is to remove constrictions that might impede the circulation of the life force energy throughout the body. The average class will consist of about one hour of movement and deep stretching, followed by a period of relaxation and a very short meditation. (Mat rentals are $2 or please bring your own mat.)

Pilates: Pilates offers a unique blend of deep breathing combined with targeted muscle-based stretches from the "powerhouse," the abdominal and back muscles. This combination provides incredible results in mind and body health for all ages and physical ability levels. Pilates offers a unique, life changing opportunity for every - body and all ages.

Meditation: Meditation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the conditioned, "thinking" mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Meditation often involves turning attention to a single point of reference. It is recognized as a component of almost all religions, and has been practiced for over 5,000 years. It is also practiced outside religious traditions. Different meditative disciplines encompass a wide range of spiritual and/or psychophysical practices which may emphasize different goals -- from achievement of a higher state of consciousness, to greater focus, creativity or self-awareness, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind.
